Instructions for Class Scheduling

Dear Incoming Walden High School Student: 

Welcome to Walden High School! We are so excited you have made the decision to join us this year as a high school student. We look forward to working with you to ensure your experience at Walden is a positive one. Before classes begin, we would like to schedule a time to meet with you (and your parents/guardians if they are available) to discuss what classes you should be taking. The registration and fee information was sent to you upon being accepted at Walden.

 

NOTE: Fees are due at the time of registration. If you need a fee waiver application, please email the registrar at registrar@waldenschool.us 

 

Once you have completed the Walden registration process and made arrangements for any fees that need to be paid, please schedule an appointment to meet with Rachon, the Walden High School counselor, to discuss your class schedule for this year. Your appointment will be rescheduled if you have not completed the registration process. Students who feel they may be eligible for a fee waiver will need to fill out the fee waiver application prior to meeting with the counselor.

❏ Click on the button that says “Schedule an Appointment”

❏ Follow instructions to schedule an appointment OR click HERE for the link(note: you must login with an email address to schedule an appointment - it does not need to be a g-mail email address).

 

BEFORE THE DATE OF YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT:

  • Please review the Walden High School Graduation requirements (found on the counseling website homepage, under the “course information” button) - or click HERE). It takes a few seconds to load. 

  • Please complete the Pre-Registration Survey based on your grade this upcoming school year.

ON THE DATE OF YOUR SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT:

  • Bring an updated copy of your Transcript from your last school showing grades for all completed classes.

  • Bring a parent/guardian if they are available

  • Arrive on time, ready to discuss which classes you would like to take, and classes you are required to take to meet Walden graduation requirements

Click the button below for the Walden Class Change Request Form. This form will be sent to the counselor.

 

The school counselor will review your request within 48 hours and will follow up with you by email with the status of your request.
